In the shadow of its beautiful chapel, nestled in the heart of Paris’s 14th arrondissement, Village Reille is enjoying a welcome summer. The summer atmosphere is the perfect time to bring together the occupants and residents of this Parisian third place, to meet, celebrate, exchange ideas, discuss, dance, and eat together.

Good news and bad news are both reasons to celebrate the collective and continue to build community. The July occupants’ ceremony was an opportunity to announce the extension of the occupation of the premises until August 2024, thus postponing the prospect of packing up and leaving this unique third place.

To mark the departure of Arthur, the driving force behind all these initiatives, who is setting off on new adventures far from Paris, we are organizing a surprise banquet to remember the good times we have had together.

On other days, a guinguette dance is organized, a partnership to organize game nights is signed, a neighborhood party is held… It’s like real village life. The Village Reille adventure will therefore continue for a few more months, and we’re not complaining.
