Setting up and managing third places
Do you have a vacant building and want to develop a temporary third place? We set up and operate projects directly in the Île-de-France region and in the cities of Lyon, Marseille, and Bordeaux.
In short
All types of buildings
We develop projects in all types of vacant buildings (entirely or partially) similar to our current and past projects. We make these spaces available to a diverse range of actors: associations, artists, cultural and social economy organizations, freelancers, and start-ups. Our projects aim to foster the creation of an ecosystem between all these structures, which are very diverse in their activities.
Mixed use
When the building allows it, we create projects where we mix uses, between solidarity spaces (social facilities, emergency accommodation centers), workspaces (offices, workshops), and spaces open to the public (exhibition halls, multipurpose spaces, solidarity shops). Our projects are large shared spaces where we strive to create an ecosystem with all the structures present and their uses of the building.
Legal and economic structuring
For each project, we work with the owner to identify the most appropriate legal and economic structure for temporary occupancy. As each building is different, our cooperative develops a tailored economic model (direct management, management mandate, networking with project developers, etc.). The legal structure is also adapted to the context of the owner's real estate project from a range of contracts managed by the cooperative.

Bringing together people in extremely precarious situations, cultural, artistic, and social organizations, as well as the general public, in one place, as we did at Les Grands Voisins, Les Cinq Toits, Maison Marceau, and La PADAF show that not only is it possible, but it also makes sense to replicate these models, not identically, because each project is unique, but by recreating the conditions conducive to diversity, solidarity, and experimentation. Numerous initiatives, such as the solidarity concierge service and the barter shop, have been set up and are helping people to achieve a certain degree of autonomy thanks to the economic activity created on site.
