In partnership with the real estate company Base Commune, Plateau Urbain is assisting SPL Agate in the redevelopment of the Esperos shopping center. Located in the heart of the NPNRU Pissevin neighborhood in Nîmes, this shopping mall and the adjacent public spaces will undergo a major overhaul. Tasked with defining the programmatic orientations of these active bases, as well as proposing a relevant support and management model in an urban context undergoing transition and subject to major social difficulties, the cooperatives are proposing an initial experimental phase once the units have been renovated. This transitional phase will enable certain programs that are currently under-represented in the neighborhood to be tested, local project leaders to be supported in their professional projects, and a viable long-term model to be gradually secured.
