La Pampa opened its doors last May in Cachan, in the Val-de-Marne region, with dozens of organizations rushing through visits, inventories, and moves, finally settling into their new offices and workshops. This new shared workspace, far from traditional coworking, is in line with other third places supported by Plateau Urbain, where everything is set up to encourage the emergence of genuine collective dynamics, both in terms of creativity and the governance of the space.
This new third place in the Paris region aims to become fully integrated into the town of Cachan, a particularly dynamic community in cultural and social terms.
This new third place in Cachan was named La Pampa following a general consultation and the involvement of all the occupants of the space. The name echoes one of the distinctive features of this third place in the Paris region: its lush garden, a veritable cocoon of greenery at the rear of the building, which gives the pleasant impression of being in a small corner of nature in the heart of the city. La Pampa is a place to disconnect, designed to be peaceful and welcoming to the many different types of occupants.
For several months now, artisans, ceramists, painters, set designers, media professionals, young landscaping and urban planning companies, associations, dance and theater companies, and many others have been working and bringing La Pampa to life every day.
